Welcome to Toy Trove

Hello, I’m Callum, and  welcome to Toy Trove – a blog that is derived from my love of toys and games! It’s full of the latest toy lines and game releases, fresh off the toy shop shelf, along with trips down memory lane!

Golden years

Whilst this blog will keep you up to date with all the latest releases, you better prepare yourself for a healthy dose of vintage favourites from the golden years that have passed us by – the 70s, 80s and 90s! These are the decades that gave the toy world legendary lines like Star Wars, Transformers, Ghostbusters and Batman!

Movies and TV galore

Are you a film and TV addict like me? Then you’re in for a treat! I have a huge love for TV and film, so this site is packed with toys that pay homage to some of my favourites; Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Pulp Fiction, Harry Potter, Marvel, Rick and Morty, James Bond and – of course – the galaxy far far away!

Star Wars

Since its release in 1977, the Star Wars universe has dominated the toy world, and therefore, it’s only right that it’ll feature heavily on this blog, too! From original 3.5 inchers through to the newest construction kits and newfangled drone gadgets, you’ll find tonnes of goodies in the Star Wars section.

Pop Vinyls

I don’t know about you, but I’ve always been a bit of a collect-o-maniac. Marry that up with my love of pop culture, and you’ll see why Pop Vinyls are so damn appealing to me! Most people I know have at least a couple. The geniuses at Funko have licensed just about everything you can think of that has a fan base. There’s a Pop Vinyl of Bob Ross, for God’s sake! (I own it). Keep them in their boxes, and they even became really nicely stackable. You can  very quickly take over a wall with a collection, and I’m well on my way! Breaking Bad is where most of my Pop collection lays. But yes, it’s safe to say that there will be a lot of Pop Vinyl content on this blog – so I hope you like them as much as I do!

Lego

The other toy I spend the most money on is everybody’s favourite construction kit! LEGO has been putting smiles on faces since way back when, and I love nothing more than losing myself in a new building set! Check out the LEGO category for time lapse videos galore!
